Development - A family shelters on the eve of a quinceañera as a hurricane looms over Miami. As the storm builds, buried tensions and family secrets rise to the surface.

Inspired by personal experiences during Hurricane Wilma in ‘05, this project received initial funding from Oolite Arts with the Cinematic Ellies Award (2025) and serves as the foundation for a feature film.

By capturing a pivotal moment in Miami’s history, this film honors the resilience and spirit of a community through bold and intimate storytelling that challenges form.
